This beautiful custom heavy relic strat plays and feels like a custom guitar should, plus the Fender Custom Shop 69 Pickups take it to a searing level of vintage tone when needed. Also installed is a 500k volume pot with treble bleed circuitry for the best tonal range at every volume level.
Aged to perfection, this neck is a Rosewood “C” with a 9.5″ radius and begs to be played. The sticky finish on the back of the neck was removed for the ultimate in smooth playability. The frets were leveled and polished then setup and intonated with new Slinky 09’s; she’s ready to go! Vintage tuners, bridge, screws and hardware were aged and sealed, so that they will look tomorrow, the way they look today for years to come.

Guitarwacky’s proprietary finish process for this stratocaster involved several coats of nitro lacquer clear coat; the finish is totally hand sanded, all poly removed-rubbed and aged; all processed by hand into a softened and smooth aged satin luster. This strat relic’s finish is includes a custom finished pickguard, finish body checking and is beautifully aged, soft and smooth to the touch.

Superb! This guitar is everything I hoped it would be and then some. A quick preface is that I have a 74′ Strat I love, a 2018 Fender custom shop 57′ Strat for 4k. This one feels better than the custom.I love the feel of a nice worn in guitar and sometimes when I want to get something new I like the option of having the feel of a beautiful old Strat without the insane price tag.
This guitar nailed that! The relic work is amazing! The neck and fretboard are so smooth! Absolutely Love It!
