When I bought this SG Deluxe I was amazed at the thinness of the neck and ease of playing. The tone and classic rock sound were absolutely phenomenal and actually caught me off guard. WOW! These are keepers and very under appreciated as long as it has original pups.

My understanding is that these are amazing sounding T-Tops. I did not remove the covers to look for the T in between the bobbins . Check out demo of a 1971 SG Deluxe with original T-tops
